Accomplishments - Alberta NAWMP Partnership

The ground breaking partnership that makes the Alberta NAWMP possible has resulted in many accomplishments, helping us support continental conservation goals. Since 1986, through the collective efforts of our partners,more than $567 million has been spent to conserve over 3.1 million acres of waterfowl habitat in Alberta.

The annual Alberta NAWMP Progress Reviews provide a complete picture of the breadth and scope the activities and accomplishments of the Partnership in a given year.

As partners, we continually hone our efforts to make the best use of available resources. Our diverse initiatives and activities demonstrate our commitment to helping achieve the NAWMP goal of returning waterfowl populations to their average 1970s levels.
